Presenter Biography
An ex teacher and school principal, and now Teaching and Learning Specialist in the Education Team of the Royal society of New Zealand, Jessie promotes, encourages and supports research and technological practice to teachers and their students.
Jessie is the programme leader of CREST – an international awards scheme designed to encourage students to be innovative, motivated, creative and to problem solve thus developing an enduring passion for science and technology.
Jessie is the programme leader for Advancing Primary Science designed to help primary teachers increase their confidence in science teaching; complement the work going on to support the introduction of the new curriculum, the production of resources and teaching training and professional development.
