Techlink: Involve / Evolve - maximising the usefulness of the resource

Glynn McGregor, Megan Rodden, Angela Christie, Vanessa Lai, Rohin Joyce, and Jess Brunette

Abstract

The Techlink site reflects a growing body of research and classroom practice. As the site continues to evolve the ways in which educators use Techlink resources has also changed. This presentation is aimed at all who want to use the site more effectively.

Participants will be provided with a brief overview of the site and will develop new ways in which to use Techlink material through a practical group activity that will focus on programme planning, technological systems, and methods to engage the wider community. This presentation has been structured to increase familiarity with present content, share experiences and develop strategies which can be taken away and usefully applied across all teaching levels.

Intended Audience

All Technology teachers.
