Extrusion of plastic (PET) rollstock from beads, and thermoforming of the rollstock into food packaging e.g. kiwifruit trays, sandwich wedges, bisuit trays and pie trays. The company also extrudes and thermoforms polystyrene, polypropylene and polylactic acid (which is made from cornstarch, and is biodegradable), and laminates polystyrene.

The newly constructed biological trickling filter wastewater treatment plant is unique in NZ and the world. It is based on a Spanish design, modified to suit the unique qualities of wastewater from the Hastings District, where huge quantities of wastewater come from food processing industries, and to meet Maori cultural and spiritual concerns over the discharge of human wastes to the sea. |
