About TENZ and its national conference

Technology Education New Zealand (TENZ) is the professional network established to support and promote the development of technology education in New Zealand.

TENZ membership incorporates primary, intermediate, and secondary school teachers, tertiary personnel and practising technologists – all currently working in technology and hangarau education or with an expressed interest in this area of learning.

The biennial TENZ national technology education conference provides an excellent opportunity to share national and international experience in technology and hangarau education and highlight current best practice. It promotes links between classroom programmes and the wider technological community and increases the scope and effectiveness of the national and international communication networks which are evolving at all levels.

The Christchurch conference will build on the previous successful conferences and provide opportunities for teacher to help prepare their students for careers in technology fields.
