Regions |
2.1 |
There are six TENZ regions. |
2.2 |
The regions are loosely based on University Colleges of Education Support Services regions and IPENZ regions thus making administration easier. |
2.3 |
Members will be allocated to a region based on their postcode. If they wish to be affiliated with another region they must contact the Technical Group Administrator. |
2.4 |
Members can only be financially affiliated with one region at any one time. |
2.5 |
The TENZ regions are: |
- Auckland and Northland;
- Waikato (Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne);
- Central Districts (New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wanganui, Hawkes Bay);
- Wellington (Wellington and Wairarapa);

- 60% Administration and membership;
- 22% Regions;
- 18% TENZ National Council.
4.4 |
There will be no free subs given to either those on National Council or on regional committees. |
4.5 |
Subs notices will be sent out in October each year. Three reminders will be sent out during the following year. If the outstanding subs are not paid by 1 October, 12 months after the original subs notice and /or after the receipt of three reminders membership will be cancelled. |

School memberships are available at a number of different rates (being a consolidated membership, the IPENZ Service Centre Fee of $42.75 only applies once per membership (be it individual or school) per year. 6. |
