Administration & Membership

• Consult with Council
• Manage and maintain membership database
• Administer National council meetings
• Management and maintenance of budget
• Setup and maintain regional budgets and codes
• Administer and Support t-news
• Administer and maintain TENZ web site
• Send subs notices and up to three reminders
• Facilitated the cancellation membership after third reminder

National Council

• Organise and support regional network
• Respond to political and fosters curriculum developments
• Liaise with Ministry of Education and curriculum developers
• Maintains links with IPENZ, ITO and the wider technology community
• Submit for MOE Contracts
• Facilitate and support biennial conference
• Publication of t-News
• Support and carry out research in technology
• Recognise excellence in technology education TENZ biennial Awards
• Network with international related technology organisations
• Liaise with other subject associations

Regional

• Identify a Regional Chair
• Establish and maintain committee
• Regular meetings (one or more per term)
• Professional development for members 2-3 times per year

  • Industry visits
  • Speakers
  • Workshops
• Support and encourage best practice
• Facilitate professional dialogue and collegiality
• Liaise with other subject associations
• Liaise with University College of Education and Support Services, Polytechs etc.
